In 2020, Rugby Club Zagreb successfully carried out the project “TAGiraj prijatelja” (“TAG Your Friend”) with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport. Project partners included Prečko Elementary School, Vrbani Elementary School, J.J. Strossmayer Elementary School, Gračani Elementary School, Dr. Ivan Merz Elementary School, as well as our governing body, the Croatian Rugby Union.

“TAGiraj prijatelja” was designed for primary school children, engaging around 200 students. As part of the program, participants underwent physical testing under the supervision of our professional coaches, completed a motivational questionnaire, and attended two educational workshops led by a licensed psychologist. 

We are proud of the project’s successful implementation during the challenging year of 2020 and extend our gratitude to all participants, partners, and the Ministry of Tourism and Sport for their support. 

Even after its official conclusion, the project continues to be implemented in schools in accordance with epidemiological measures and public health guidelines.
