Unfortunately, despite showing great determination, the junior teams of Rugby Club Zagreb came up short this time.

On November 25, 2018, the final tournament of the Croatian Cup for U16 cadets was held at RK Nada’s field in Split. The results were as follows: Nada – Mladost 43:0, Zagreb – Mladost 23:5, Nada – Zagreb 21:0. Final standings: Nada Zagreb Mladost Congratulations to Nada on the title.

On November 18, 2018, two finals took place — U14 (in Sinj) and U18 (in Split). The U14 tournament in Sinj featured teams from Sinj, Mladost, Zagreb, and Nada Split. Sinj’s cadets won their first match against Mladost 55:0, while Nada defeated Zagreb 40:10. In the final, Sinj overcame a strong Nada side 12:5. In the match for third place, Mladost beat Zagreb 25:5. Congratulations to Sinj on this great achievement. Final standings: Sinj Nada Mladost Zagreb

In Split, the Croatian Cup final for U18 juniors was played between Nada and Zagreb. Nada comfortably defeated a weakened Zagreb team (which lacked enough players for a full lineup) with a score of 60:5. Congratulations to Nada on the championship.

All in all, there is no shortage of talent, but the biggest problem for our club remains the small number of players involved across all age categories. This must change as soon as possible — otherwise, the very existence of the club could come into question.
