At last, rugby returns to Rudeš for the eyes of our loyal fans and supporters. The snow has melted, the healing Rudeš mud awaits, birds are singing, and the stream is murmuring. The romantic sight of two teams eager to play, battling for the oval ball on the Rudeš field, can melt even the hardest hearts.

So this Sunday, everyone to Rudeš! The spring part of the season is reserved for the Blue Lions and for giving more playing time to the young, talented players from Zagreb’s youth ranks.

This Sunday, the Blues will, for the first time in history, host a relatively young club on the Croatian rugby scene — RK Šibenik. Although Zagreb’s second team competes out of the official 2nd Division standings, their goal is to give young players valuable senior experience. The visitors, on the other hand, are highly motivated and ready to fight until the final whistle.
